Addy Peters, apeters@akchild.org.MA joined the ACS Training Department in January 2009. She believes that it is the Trainer’s job to find the key that enables each person to reach his or her full professional potential.

Addy has extensive experience in Residential Care, having enjoyed five busy years as Clinician and Program Director for a Level II facility in Bethel, Alaska. Most recently, Addy served as Executive Director of a regional Rape Crisis Center in her native Ireland, a role where much of her time was devoted to training staff, volunteers and local school and community agency personnel. With a passion for travel and learning about other cultures, Addy has variously worked as a school teacher in Japan, a waitress in Germany and a fruit-picker in Australia.
