The Parent Training and Information Center at Stone Soup Group has contracted with the Center for Human Development to provide an evaluation of transition activities necessary to promote positive post-secondary outcomes, from the perspective of parent support. Part of this evaluation of Federal and State resources is to conduct focus groups with parents of transition age youth.

Focus groups are being held in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.

The Anchorage focus group will be held on Wednesday March 23rd, from 5-6:30 pm at Stone Soup Group. We would appreciate it if you would share this with parents who have youth with special needs and are of transition age so we can have a broad representation of families and make this effort really meaningful. We expect the full report to be ready by May.
