Quality assurance activities have one goal: continuous improvement in the quality of services offered to our consumers. Our quality assurance effort will include the following activities:
- Informing consumers of their rights and reasonable expectations
- Collecting feedback on the quality of services received
- Responding to service complaints
- Providing technical assistance and training to service providers
Who are the Quality
Assurance Team Members?
Carol Downey is the Quality Assurance Unit Manager.
Staff members are: Terri Panilo, Laura Moy, Clark Stanton, Karen Engstrom, Sue Darby, and Trigvee Fredrickson
How will monitoring
activities be conducted?
Our quality assurance effort is a positive one.
We focus on finding ways to improve the quality of services provided
to consumers. We emphasize collaboration and the sharing of information
among Senior and Disabilities Services staff, consumers and service
providers.
These efforts include production of consumer satisfaction and informational
materials, development of an overall Senior and Disabilities Services quality
assurance plan and monitoring tools. The Quality Assurance unit incorporates
input from service providers and consumers. Service providers will
receive
draft evaluation materials for comment before final materials are produced.
The quality assurance team will work with service providers to ensure
that they have the technical support and information needed to meet
complex regulatory requirements and ensure satisfaction with the quality
of services provided.
