Alaska Public Health Improvement Process [April 1997 - March 1999] APHIP is a planning process implemented to develop a better understanding of Alaska's public health system and infrastructure, to identify weaknesses in the system, and to set goals and develop strategies for strengthening the state's public health infrastructure. Targets & Strategies for Improved HealthHealthy Alaskans 2010 will be used over the decade to track changes in health status of Alaskans and to serve as a point of reference for health policy development.
