Program Partners
The AFVPP has provided outreach, technical assistance to and conducted hundreds of workshops for health care providers and other service providers on intimate partner violence, domestic violence, brain development and exposure to violence, and the impact of exposure to violence on children to a wide range of Alaskan providers in disciplines and agencies including, but not limited to:
- health and social services,
- health care facilities,
- domestic violence crisis centers,
- K-12 and higher education,
- public safety,
- state and local community,
- religious,
- village and regional Native health corporations, and
- other service provider agencies working with adults and children
In addition, the AFVPP partners closely with the Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, the Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (w/its network of statewide programs/crisis centers), and the statewide coordinator for domestic violence and sexual assault.
