“Charge” is used to designate an individual violation of the law or an offense. This data represents the most serious charge type on each referral

Public Order crimes include such offenses as providing false information to police, hindering prosecution, harming a police dog, escape and unlawful evasion

Drug/Alcohol offenses include offenses such as habitual possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Miscellaneous Offenses include offenses such as municipal criminal code violations and probation violations.
