The SHARP Program (starting April 2010) provides a new state-managed loan repayment opportunity for primary care and behavioral health providers working in designated health professional shortage areas (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, dental hygienists, social workers, counselors, and psychologists).
