Medicaid Task Force Meeting Calendar

MEETING 1

Date: September 29, 2010

Time: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Location: Conference Room 890, Frontier Building, 3601 C Street, Anchorage
Call-in Number: State employees involved in Medicaid-related work can call in from their office telephones by dialing 465-1120. Members of the public can call 1-888-319-6967. There will be no public comment taken at this Medicaid Task Force meeting.

 

MEETING 2

Due to House and Senate re-organization meetings that are to be held November 3rd & 4th, a “virtual” Medicaid Task Force meeting will replace the face-to-face meeting for the month of November. Resource materials will be posted below on November 3rd for Task Force members and public to download. Any questions on the materials should be directed to Tara Horton tara.horton@alaska.gov or Nancy Cornwell nancy.cornwell@alaska.gov prior to the December Task Force meeting.

Date: December 1, 2010

Due to limited availability and attendance of task force members, the December 1st meeting was canceled. Resource materials for this month are posted below for Task Force members and public to download. PUBLIC COMMENT MEETING
Date: Wednesday, March 23, 2011
Time: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

The Medicaid Task Force will receive public comment on the draft report “Options for Cost-Savings” in-person at the Juneau Capitol building room 106 or via teleconference through local Legislative Information Offices in Fairbanks, Mat-Su, Anchorage, Kenai and Juneau the day of the meeting.

Those planning to provide public comment must notify Tara Horton by no later than COB Monday, March 21, 2011 by phone or email.
Participants will be asked to provide:

  • Name
  • Organization (if representing)
  • City
  • Contact phone or email

A list with the order of participants (as received) will be posted to the Medicaid Task Force website by 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 22, 2011. This list will also be available at each LIO and the meeting site on the day of the meeting. Testimony will be limited to 3 minutes per participant.

Written Comment:
The Medicaid Task Force will receive written comment through COB Friday, March 25, 2011. There is a limit of 1-page per option discussed for individuals and 2-pages per option discussed for organizations. Please consolidate written comments into one document if more than one individual from the same organization desires to express similar comments.
