System Management, Outcomes Tracking and Continuous Quality Improvement

Over the next five years our focus will be to affect change in the following areas:

  1. BTKH Coordinator hired to manage project communications and collaboration between DHSS, Stakeholders, Providers, Planning Boards, and the Trust.
  2. Complete development and implementation of regulations for integrated behavioral health and early childhood services, to incentivize in-home services and for services targeted to families rather than an individual child.
  3. Apply for federal grant funding to support system development and to enhance resources available from the Trust and DHSS. Use BTKH funding to meet federal match requirements and gradually replace federal funding with state GF where required for sustainability.

  4. Build family voice into DHSS planning, policy development and system oversight activities to improve outcomes.
