Barnes & Noble Book fairs to kick off Autism Awareness Month

The Alaska Autism Resource Center in conjunction with the Autism Society of Alaska Golden Heart Chapter are sponsoring two Barnes & Noble Book fairs to kick off Autism Awareness Month this year. There will be a variety of activities at each location, and a percentage of the Barnes & Noble purchases will go towards distributing books about Autism to libraries around the state. People who wish to support this cause will need to either turn in the attached voucher or tell the cashier they are supporting our cause. Their items will not cost any additional money, but Barnes & Noble themselves will donate the money. We would appreciate your help in spreading the word about these events in any way possible, whether it be posting the flyers, emailing to a list serve, or posting to your newsletter. Any help that you can give will be appreciated. I have attached the flyers and vouchers for each fundraiser, and individuals can also order online and use their vouchers.

For more information and Autism Awareness activities you can go to the SESA website at www.sesa.org, then click on the Alaska Autism Resource Center page. On that page is a calendar where I post all events.

Thanks for your support!
