The powerful personal stories featured on this site relay the hopes and challenges of Alaskans impacted by cancer.

Why we share stories

In March 2009, the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium and the Alaska Comprehensive Cancer Partnership sponsored a digital story workshop to raise awareness about cancer and to provide participants with a means to share their perspectives with the world.
